The space
The cabin has a simple and comfortable layout with three sleeping areas as well as shared living spaces. There is one private bedroom with a Queen size bed and a second bedroom with a set of full size bunk beds. A loft area overlooks the main living space and includes two single beds, suitable for kids, friends, or flexible sleeping arrangements.
The living room has sectional couch seating, an indoor wood fireplace for cooler nights, and space to relax after a day on the island. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with a full refrigerator, oven, stovetop, coffee maker, dishes, cookware, and basic essentials.
The dining table is in the kitchen for meals and board games. A full bathroom with shower serves the home. Outside, guests have access to a deck area with seating and a grill, along with a staircase leading down the bluff to the shoreline of Lake Superior.
Guest access
Guests will have full and private access to the entire cabin and its surrounding property.
Entire Cabin: Your group will be the only occupants.
Outdoor Spaces: Enjoy the patio area complete with outdoor seating and a grill.
Private Lake Access: A staircase leads down the bluff, providing direct access to your private shoreline on Lake Superior. Please note that the staircase and bluff is steep and may be challenging for some guests, so please use caution.

Lake Access Staircase: The wooden staircase down the bluff providing access to the shoreline is quite steep. Please exercise caution, especially with young children or those with mobility concerns.
Supplies: We recommend stocking up on groceries and any specialty items before heading over on the ferry, though there is a small grocery store (Darlings Grocery) on the island for essentials.
Connectivity: While the cabin does have reliable Wi-Fi, please be aware that cell service can be variable on the island due to its remote nature.

We respect your privacy and offer a self-check-in process. We will not be on the property during your stay but are available via the app or phone if you have any questions or need assistance. Our goal is to ensure you have a comfortable and memorable visit.
